The Historic Claremont Packing House is located in the historic Claremont Village. Our private studio is upstairs and is where we hold our 1-on-1 mentorships and small wedding photography workshops.

Holding & Co. Photography is a photography and videography team specializing in creative documentary wedding photography based in Southern California. We are skilled storytellers best known for our ability to create an array of creative portraits and to capture exceptional candid moments on and off the dance floor.

Simple & Effective Lighting Techniques for the entire wedding day
Gain the confidence you need to shoot in any indoor or outdoor reception space. We’ll walk you through every major formality of the reception and show you how to produce incredible images using on-camera flash, off-camera flash, as well as video lights.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT LIGHTING EQUIPMENT WILL WE USE?
A wide variety of lighting equipment and solutions will be at the workshop for all to work with including; speedlights, various light modifiers, video lights, and more.
SHOULD I BRING MY CAMERA?
Absolutely! This is a hands-on workshop and stylized shoot with models, tables, and a cake. A large part of this workshop will be you taking photos with your new found techniques.
MAY I KEEP THE PHOTOS I TAKE FOR MY PORTFOLIO?
Yes, you may. We will stylize certain aspects of the photos but, you will have complete control to adjust your lighting, the models, etc. Making every shot your own.
WILL THERE BE MODELS PRESENT?
Yes. We have secured a former bride and groom who will be modeling for us the entire evening up until 9 PM. They will not be present for the potential night photo walk.
IS THIS A HANDS-ON WORKSHOP?
Absolutely. The first portion of the workshop is a relaxed classroom lecture. The remaining time we will walk through every formality of a traditional wedding reception.
WILL THERE BE A PHOTO WALK AFTERWARD?
Maybe. If a group wants to continue, we can walk around historic Downtown Riverside and practice your new techniques on a set of challenging night shots. Or we’ll just go eat.
